Syncro- Analogue Addressable Detection |
The syncro system has been designed to offer the ultimate in state of the art fire protection.
From the most simple two loop control panel, to a complete networked, centrally reporting, graphics based system, syncro components can be applied to meet any requirement. Up to sixty four, two and four loops control panels can be connected together with any or all panels acting as masters or slaves. The entire network can be transmitted to a central PC for monitoring and control or accessed remotely via telephone lines from anywhere in the world. Using the very latest in microprocessor and memory technology, syncro systems provide the power and the programmability to configure future proof systems in a simple, graphical manner from a PC. Simpler systems can be configured entirely from the control panel pushbuttons with the assistance of the context help sensitive help button. |
| The sigma 2 range consists of a series of conventional fire alarm control panels BSI certified to EN54-2 & 4. The range consists of 2,4 and 8 zone control panels. All control panels are available in 2 versions.
Sigma K11 range- in which detectors and call points are wired on separate circuits to sounders.
Sigma T11 range - in which detectors, call points and sounders are wired to the same pair of cables. Commonly referred to as a two wire system |

Fire Extinguisher Servicing & Suppliers |
The are 2 types of maintenance procedures :- 
- Basic Inspection by the user and
- Maintenance by a competent person
- British standard 5306-3:200 covers the maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, and recommends that "regular visual inspections of all portable fire extinguishers be carried out by the user or user's representative. The frequency of inspections by the user should be not less than monthly and when circumstances require, inspections should be carried out more frequently".
Inspections should include checks that each extinguisher:
- Is located in the designated place;
- Is unobstructed, visible and its operating instructions face outwards;
- Has operating instructions which are clean and legible;
- Is not obviously damaged;
- Has a reading of the operable range or position of any pressure gauge or indicator;
- Has seals and tamper indicators which are not broken or missing.
- Maintenance should be carries out by a competent person ( usually a specialist contractor ) 12 months after installation of a new extinguisher, and at 12 monthly intervals.
